REVIEW-individual tracks

Beretta '70

Very nice ethnic percussion in the beginning intro leading into the drums entrance. Kinda retro feel to this vibey song, somehow reminds me of those James Bond soundtracks.

When the strings and guitars come in, they give a fresh feel to the retro vibe...making it sound a little bit more modern.

Though i can imagine this song may not be everyone's cup of tea, its eclectic taste may be just the stuff for some people. I like the early reflections on the drums and strings, adds to the retro vibe...very soundtrackish.

Arrangement - A very well arranged track, fully utilizing the stereo space to create a large sounding theme. nice blend of percussion as well.. i love the sudden solo bass part. Personally i prefer the strings to sound alittle more realistic, as in this song they are a little synthetic... though may be intended to sound like that, it takes that little bit of retro vibe away. There are already other sounds in there giving the fresh mood... if the strings were done in a more acoustic manner it will be a nice blend of acoustic and electronic sounds.

Mood - very soundtrack and themic inspiring... very "classic" yet modern. Eclectic is the word. The orchestrated sounds give it a very grand feel.

Who do we sound like - I cannot really describe who, but i can describe what...as close an answer i guess. Did I mention the James Bond theme? Ok, add some nu-skool elements, add some amon tobin breaks, add some bigger strings and brass to that....and you got what you sound like.

Soundtrackish is the word... my soundtrack song pick of the day. Garageband.com

This wisdom of the man who knows nothing

I like the sound and the originality of this track. The intro caught my attention at once - sounds like programmed guitar overtones and leads us into a cool electronica beat with almost "goth" pads underneath. The beat sounds perfect - not too slick, not too sloppy.

A slight 80's feel with slapped synth bass and the guitar from the beginning still on repeat. We like it that way! This could be the soundtrack of an "off-Broadway" version of Miami Vice.

If I could have one wish - I would have 80's type drumhits (splash, bd, hh) when the guitar overtones comes in again alone at 2:06 - to retain the energy as the track is soon finished anyway.

And the last bit could be even bigger and longer - how about some strings?

Great work!!   Garageband.com
